Cozy up into Fall

Sept. 21 marks the first day of fall, but for a lot of fast food places, fall starts a month prior to the season’s arrival. The popular fast food chain Dunkin’ had released their fall menu on Aug. 20. While many fans solely anticipated the return of the popular Pumpkin Spice Coffee on the menu, they were surprised to see that three new items had also been added.

One of the first new additions added to the menu was the Cereal N’ Milk Latte. This drink is allegedly supposed to “taste like a Saturday morning,” but in reality, it is made from marshmallow flavored cereal milk combined with espresso. This drink can either be served hot or cold and some critics have compared this drink to eating a bowl of Fruity Pebbles cereal. 

In addition to the Cereal N’ Milk drink, Sabrina Carpenter has yet again collaborated with Dunkin and has added Strawberry, Mango, and Mixed berry flavors to her Daydream Refresher collection. All of these drinks will be mixed with oat milk and topped with Dunkin’s signature sweet vanilla cold foam. While fans had enjoyed Carpenter’s summertime refresher collection, they are dissatisfied with the outcome of the fall collection. Some fans have pointed out that it tastes more like medicine than a refreshing drink. 

Aside from drinks, Dunkin’ is also known for their breakfast and bakery menu. In their breakfast menu, they introduced Chipotle Loaded Hash Browns and the Maple Sugar Bacon Wake-Up Wrap. These items can also be purchased with Dunkin’ $6 meal deal where you can purchase a  medium hot or iced coffee, Wake-up Wrap, and hash browns all for $6. In their bakery menu, they have replaced their strawberry loaf cake with an Iced Pumpkin Loaf Cake. They also added 

Pumpkin donuts and munchkins and a new donut called the Kreme Delight which is a chocolate donut with vanilla buttercream filling. 

While this concludes the new items added to the Dunkin’ fall menu, fans are still pleased with the returning items such as the Pumpkin Spice Iced Latte. This drink is popular every year as it leaves people to experience the fall feeling after taking a sip of the drink. The Pumpkin Spice Latte is made with sweet pumpkin syrup and topped with cinnamon sugar cold foam to give the fall finish. As this drink became a fan-favorite over the years, it will be available until Nov. 4 along with the rest of the fall menu.
