Caring, empathetic, and intelligent – three qualities that describe Conrad Fischer, the boy that Isabella Conklin has dedicated a piece of her heart towards since they were kids. Summer by summer passed, but Belly’s feelings never left. Even after giving his brother, Jeremiah Fischer, multiple chances, Conrad has proven himself to be the brother that Belly should spend the rest of her life with.

In a letter written to Jeremiah Fischer on his wedding day by his mother, Susannah Fischer, the name it was addressed to was not his but Conrad’s. Susannah Fischer knew it was meant to be Conrad Fischer marrying Belly because she was the only girl he was ever in love with. 

Although Conrad Fischer’s emotions can seem complicated, he always makes sure Belly has everything she needs. When Belly’s brother, Steven Conklin, was in the hospital, Conrad Fischer used connections through his college program to provide the best care for Steven. Whenever Belly is hungry, Conrad Fischer will drop everything and cook for her. 

Conrad Fischer is the clear winner of Belly’s heart. Even 83.3 percent of students at Plainfield North agreed that they are Team Conrad through a voluntary survey. He provides the entire world and more for her, which should prove enough that Conrad has always been the one for her. Instead of just being Belly’s silly childhood crush, Conrad should be her lifelong partner forever.

You might be thinking, “Why Jeremiah?”

Jeremiah is the best choice for Belly because he is a family man, wants what’s best for her, and he is always there for her. In season one of “The Summer I Turned Pretty,” Jeremiah stays with his mom 24/7 and tries to help her the best he can indicating how heartfelt he is to his family and will be if he and Belly got married. He also cares about her completely, from season one when he always wanted to make her happy, to house hunting with her until she loved him in season three. The final reason is that he always tries to be there for her financially, emotionally, and spiritually. While he was in his dad’s office in season three, he kept thinking of her even though he couldn’t be with her. That’s why Belly should pick Jeremiah; he is a family man, wants what’s best for her, and he is always there for her.
